The Eric Marsh Foundation for Wildland Firefighters was created to honor the life and legacy of Eric Marsh, the superintendent of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. Following the tragic Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30, 2013, which claimed the lives of 19 members of the elite firefighting crew, the foundation emerged as a source of support for wildland firefighters and their families.
